Eldercare Workshop/Training
Our president, Manami, offered the "Healing Art Therapy for Elders" training at John F. Kennedy University on Tuesday, August 8th. The participants were professional senior care staffs who came to the US for one-week training and have been supporting elders' lives and well-being in a daily basis.
We introduced Expressive Arts Therapy as one of the modalities to help seniors express and heal themselves. It was our pleasure to see senior care staffs' high motivation for learning and experiencing Art Therapy.
It was amazing to see their openness and authenticity for their own art therapy process. We truly appreciate their wonderful works, and we hope they enjoy the rest of training.
