Corrie Tizon Williams, AMFT

About Me

I'm Corrie and I'm devoted to supporting others on their therapeutic journey toward healing. I see each person as whole, capable, and worthy. Worthy of change. Worthy of living a fulfilling life. My goal as a therapist is to be able to provide clients with refuge, shelter from their inner storm, help them fight their battles, and discover ways to cope and manage their challenges. I have over six years of direct care experience working with folks of all ages and unique challenges, more specifically children ages 6-19 and their families as they've bravely worked toward healing from early childhood trauma, attachment disruptions, and navigating debilitating symptoms. I specialize in treating those who wrestle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship challenges, attachment issues, and life transitions/adjustments through individual, family, and group therapy spaces.

My specialty is utilizing expressive arts in the therapy space, which can include a variety of art forms, such as visual arts (drawing, painting, collaging), poetry, lyric writing, music, and movement. The arts can provide outlets for expression, shed light into your experience, bring confidence, and so much more. Whether clients prefer talk-therapy or other creative avenues to support their process, I am committed to meeting my clients wherever they are on their therapeutic journey, while remaining curious, creative, collaborative, culturally humble, and strengths-based.
